September's payment will be due upon enrollment confirmation.

Financial Assistance is Available; Elementary September After-School Tuition is Free

The increased rates are attributable to a reduction in New York State Empire Program Funding over the past two years. In the past, these funds have made it possible for the district to more fully subsidize the cost of the extended day program, but given the reductions in aid, it is no longer sustainable for the district to do so.

Although the Empire funding has decreased, the state has increased funding to expand access to childcare, including significantly raising the income level eligibility for families to receive financial assistance for childcare. This assistance can be used to offset the tuition costs of the Healthy Kids Extended Day program, and in order to give families ample time to apply for this assistance, September 2023 tuition for the after-school program will be free for elementary-aged families.
