A Day Designed For Growth
Our UPK classrooms follow a consistent daily rhythm that supports learning, social-emotional development, and each child’s individual needs. Every part of the day is intentionally designed to build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond.
WELCOME & COMMUNITY
Arrival + Circle Time
Children are welcomed into a warm, structured environment where they build routines, connect with peers, and begin their day with intention. Morning meeting introduces the day’s activities and helps children feel confident and prepared.
LEARNING THROUGH PLAY
Center Time + Small Group Instruction
Children explore hands-on learning centers designed around literacy, math, creativity, and problem-solving. Teachers provide small group instruction tailored to each child’s developmental level.
CREATIVITY & EXPRESSION
Story Time + Music & Movement
Through reading, storytelling, music, and movement, children build language skills, express themselves, and develop a love of learning in engaging, meaningful ways.
ACTIVE PLAY & ROUTINES
Outdoor Play + Clean Up
Children participate in daily outdoor play and structured transitions that build independence, cooperation, and social skills. These routines help create a sense of responsibility and community.
