How long does enrollment take?
Registration takes about 5-10 minutes. After submitting, you’ll complete a few additional required forms to finalize enrollment.
When can my child start?
In most cases, children can begin within 24–48 hours after registration and all required forms are completed.
Can I change my schedule later?
Yes—families can request schedule changes based on availability. Our flexible options are designed to fit your needs.

Universal Child Care
Eligible Families Attend at No Cost
Healthy Kids participates in New Mexico's Universal Child Care initiative. For eligible families, before school, after school, and full-day Friday programming is covered through state funding.
Keeping Your Coverage Active
To receive state-funded care, families must:
✔ Complete required paperwork.
✔ Respond to requests from Healthy Kids and ECECD.
✔ Maintain eligibility.
✔ Notify us of important changes.
If eligibility requirements are not completed or maintained, state funding may be delayed or discontinued. Families may become financially responsible for the cost of care in accordance with Healthy Kids Programs policies and applicable ECECD requirements.
