We proudly partner with New Hampshire child care assistance program to help make our services more affordable to families. Whether your child is just starting out or needs care during the school year or summer, we're here to support you every step of the way.

Is My Family Eligible?

Check the requirements below to see if you qualify

Eligibility Requirements

✓ To be eligible, children must be under 13 years old (or under 18 years old if they have a disability)

✓ Parents must be working, looking for work, or in a training program, and the family's household income must meet current requirements

✓The family's household income must meet current requirements

Eligibility is redetermined every 12 months and families must recertify annually.

What Documentation Do I Need?

Gather these documents before you apply

Proof of Income

Examples may include: recent pay stubs (usually last 4-8 weeks), employer statement or wage verification, most recent tax return (if self-employed), unemployment, disability, or other benefit statements

Proof of Employment, School, or Training

Examples may include: work schedule or employer letter, school enrollment or class schedule, job search documentation (if applicable)

Child Care Provider Information

Families must provide provider name and license status, schedule of care needed and enrollment information (if already placed)

Additional Information (if applicable) 

Depending on your situation you may also need: 

  • Child support or custody documentation

  • Proof of residency (lease, utility bill)

  • Verification of public assistance (like FANF)

Accepted document types include: PDF, DOC/DOCX, JPEG, or PNG

Certain documents may fulfill more than one requirement.

Families can apply for Child Care Assistance online

You can also apply in person or via mail with a paper application at a DHHS District Office.

Are There Other Forms of Assistance?

Child Care Aware® of America

Delivers in partnership with the United States Military and Department of Defense to serve and support their families through Fee Assistance and Respite Child Care Programs. Healthy Kids is a registered provider with Child Care Aware at a variety of our locations.
