Getting ready for a summer camp day doesn’t have to be a scramble. With just a few thoughtful items in their bag, and a few things left at home, your child will be ready for a smooth, fun-filled day. Here’s a quick guide to what they’ll need (and what they won’t!) to help everyone start the day with confidence.

What to Pack: The Essentials
Refillable Water Bottle: Hydration = happy kids. Make sure it’s labeled!
Ready to Eat Packed Lunch & Snack: Easy-to-open containers, please!
Comfortable Clothes & Closed-Toe Shoes: Clothes that can move, bend, and maybe get messy.
Weather Gear: Think light jacket, hat, or sunscreen depending on the forecast.
Any Required Medications: Please give to staff directly with clear instructions.
A Positive Attitude! Not required in a bag, but always welcome.
What to Leave at Home:
Toys or Electronics: We keep days screen-free and focused on play, creativity, and connection.
Valuables: If it would be a bummer to lose, it’s best to leave it home.
Extra Tips for Peace of Mind:
Label Everything: It really helps when things go missing
Keep It Light: A smaller, lightweight bag is easier for kids to manage themselves.
Talk Through the Day: A quick morning pep talk about the day ahead helps kids feel confident and calm.
With just a little prep, your child will walk into camp ready to focus on what matters most—fun, friendship, and growth. Got questions? We’re always here to help!
Still haven't signed up for summer camp?
