Child Care Assistance Approved? Here's How to Register

If your family already receives child care assistance (subsidy), we're here to help make the registration process as smooth as possible.

Step 1: Complete Your Registration

During registration, you will be asked if your family receives child care assistance or child care subsidy. If you select "Yes," you will receive a registration fee discount code to reduce your fee to $10 to use during checkout.

Please note: The discount code is intended for families who currently have an active child care assistance approval or are already in the process of applying.

Step 2: Upload Your Approval Letter

After completing your registration, log in to your Playground Parent Portal and upload a copy of your most recent child care assistance approval letter or authorization notice.

Providing your approval documentation as soon as possible helps us verify your eligibility and process your account more quickly.

Step 3: Review by Our Subsidy Team

Once your approval letter has been uploaded, our Subsidy Team will review the documentation and confirm:

Your approved provider information
Authorized dates of care
Approved schedule or hours (if applicable)
Any required parent share or family responsibility

If additional information is needed, a member of our team will contact you directly.

Step 4: Billing Adjustments

After your approval has been verified, our Subsidy Specialist will update your account and adjust billing based on your authorization and program enrollment.

Any applicable tuition adjustments will be reflected in your account once the review process is complete.

Important Reminders

Please upload your most recent approval letter as soon as possible after registering.
Families are responsible for tuition charges until assistance eligibility and provider authorization have been verified.
Child care assistance approvals may require periodic renewals or recertification. It is the family's responsibility to maintain an active approval with their local agency.
Approval requirements and coverage amounts vary by state and agency.
